This policy explains how Matariki Stars Limited (“Matariki Stars”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information collected through this website. We comply with the Privacy Act 2020 (New Zealand).

Information we collect

This website does not use user accounts, advertising or analytics tracking, and it does not set cookies.

If you use the enquiry form, we collect the name, email address, organisation (if given) and enquiry details you enter. The form is delivered to us through Web3Forms, a third-party form-handling service, which processes the submission on our behalf and may retain a copy in its own systems. Web3Forms’ own privacy terms are published at web3forms.com/privacy.

Our web host records standard technical information when a page is requested, which may include your IP address, browser type, referring page and the date and time of the request. This information is used only to operate and secure the site.

The page loads typefaces from Google Fonts. When it does, your browser makes a request to Google’s servers, and Google may log your IP address as part of delivering those files.

Information you send us

If you contact us by email or through the enquiry form, we receive the information you choose to include — typically your name, email address and the details of your enquiry. We use it only to respond to you and to manage any resulting business relationship.

How we use and share information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for marketing purposes. We may share information with service providers who host our website or email, and with our professional advisers, in each case only as needed to carry out the purpose for which it was provided. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

Storage and retention

Information is held on systems operated by us or by our service providers, which may be located outside New Zealand. We take reasonable steps to protect it against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, and we keep it only for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected or for as long as the law requires.

Under the Privacy Act 2020 you may ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it is wrong. Please contact us using the details below and we will respond within the timeframes set by the Act.
